Gorman Company

          Gorman Company is part of Hajoca Corporation, a privately owned American company established in Philadelphia, PA in 1858. Our parent company, Hajoca, gets its name by combining the last names of the founders, Haines, Jones, and Cadbury. Hajoca is the largest privately owned plumbing, heating, and industrial supply wholesaler in the nation with over 350 locations across the United States. Gorman Company was founded in 1939 and was purchased by Hajoca Corporation in 1991. We currently have 36 Gorman locations across the state of Florida.

          As a privately held decentralized company, we are not subject to the demands of Wall Street shareholders. We utilize the strength of Hajoca to negotiate the best pricing on the best products, but we make our business decisions at the local level. Each Gorman Company location is slightly different, based on the needs of our local customers. Gorman Company operates under a profit sharing model at each location, giving our associates a sense of ownership, and eagerness to provide top notch service.
